Welcome to Star Wars Vintage Toys - The Blog!

I’ve been a huge Star Wars fan since 1977, and although I had a lot of the original action figures and various vehicles and ships, I foolishly let them get away from me.

Now that I’m approaching 40, the idea to collect everything Star Wars has gotten me excited about the movies again. I still play any video game with the Star Wars name attached to it. Currently I’m playing through Episode III: Revenge of the Sith on my Playstation 2. I also have been playing “Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy” on my PC. Oh well, I digress, collecting Star Wars action figures, lightsabers, games, etc. has never been easier.

Currently, I have in my possession a “Battle Damaged Darth Vader” action figure from the forthcoming “The Force Unleashed” video game. It’s still in its original box, and currently resides in the top of my closet. I also have two cup toppers (Darth Maul & Anakin Skywalker) from Taco Bell from the movie “Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace”. There is a whole slew of action figures for the upcoming film “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” movie.

These are my first items in my collection. I have my eye on a Force FX Lightsaber, and some collectible helmets. At this point, I’m not going to discriminate on what I buy. Most items can be found pretty cheap from places such as Amazon.com, ebay, and Walmart. Looks like action figures will be the majority of my collection, but the fun will be looking at my collection and watching it grow in size, and diversity.

May the Force be with you!
